Hi Renata!
I am writing from Kazan. The weather is very hot and windy.
We came to Victory Park. Soon there will parade. And then people will be celebrating a great day — the Victory Day! In Russia it is celebrated on May 9th. On this day, celebrate the victory of the Russian army over fascism. People put around the Eternal Fire flowers and wreaths in memory of the Russian soldiers and war dead.
Now, people in the park happy screaming noise. Children get on tanks, planes, ATVs. Me and my little sister Alina, too. Sometimes the square is a concert. Artists sing war songs.
Victory Day is the evening fireworks. Father and I watch it every year. And you will watch the evening fireworks?
See you tomorrow.
With the love Tanya
